If I start Kmail and try to type one letter in KMail`s QuickSearch-bar its crashing immediately.Sometimes its just crashing when running in background.

Finally I must say that KMail runs very unstable. I often lost all my locally saved mails (not that bad because they are still on my imap-server).

And it just crashed again. This time it gets no user-input for doing so ;-) I hope this will help.

I tried to downgrade to current-repository. But it does not help. KDE still crashes. I tested it on two diffrent computers.

It is still a problem. But now I use imap instead of dimap and disabled the mail-index.

I think we could close this because it seems to be a KDE problem; you can find a lot of entries on bugs.kde.org complaining crashes when using dimap.
