Details

Description:
If I have an mp3 track followed by an ogg track in my playlist, phonon will not play the ogg track after the mp3 track has stopped.

gstreamer need to be patched with this patch:

Additional comments about closing:  Will be fixed in gstreamer0.10-base 0.10.36-2, we're switching to gstreamer-sdk, which has this commit included.

I will not patch 0.10, it is unmaintained upstream.

This is the default phonon backend (with replaygain support), sad to have KDE broken on ArchLinux...
