DetailsDescription:
Window names update fine when they use atom WM_NAME, but using Unicode window names use _NET_WM_NAME, which is not handled properly (window name does not update). Steps to reproduce: An easy way to verify is to open a browser, search for a string with a unicode symbol, and swap between tabs. When switching to the unicode-titled tab, fbpanel's taskbar does not update the window name. Patch: Attached. |

The maintainer of the project page on SourceForge does not seem to reply to bug reports any longer and there is no other contact information available. I will report upstream if recommended but I expect not to receive a reply.
