I can't find a usage pattern to reproduce it; sometimes it happens when opening a dialog windows, some others when switching from one view to another. I write code in C++ so it always happened while using CDT (I don't know if this detail is relevant or not).

I attach the dump file produced by eclipse

Upstream report says the problem is fixed with the new version of oxygen-gtk{2,3}. snack, can you confirm this is fixed?
Comment by Nicola Mori (snack) - Friday, 30 May 2014, 08:02 GMT
Well, it's not easy to say whether the new oxygen-gtk fixes the issue or not, since it happened randomly and not very frequently. All I can say is that I had no crash since some time ago, but I'm not using eclipse intensively in this period. I'd say that, in lack of any precise info, I'd trust upstream and close the bug as fixed; if the problem happens again then I'll ask for reopening. Thanks.
