Details

Description:
Program libreoffice failed to start with error message: "/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libicuuc.so.51: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Package libreoffice-common installs icu-52.1-1 as dependency but icu-51 is required by binaries.

Shell output:
> pacman -Qo /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin

Don't use ldd, use objdump -p and you'll see that soffice.bin isn't linked against icu at all. It runs here just fine.

Most likely you have either an old package or an AUR package that replaces a repo package that needs rebuilt. Make sure that you are completely up to date and take a look at the output of pacman -Qm.
