Since 0.9.1-1 (https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/quassel&id=05c7553ea0f84deacfdcd9caa6948890cbd8a68d) quassel.service starts a core as user root.

This should be reverted to quassel/quassel. The required user/group are still added in 0.9.1-1.

It also doesn't make much sense to start a service as Type=simple and then provide a PIDFile...

Jaroslav, anything I can do to help resolve this issue? As a contributor to quassel I'd like to have this fixed rather sooner than later, cause everyone starting to use this package now will run into problems once this gets fixed.

This should be fixed already, since the .service file now has User=quassel / Group=Quassel
