Hi,

I installed arch today on my desktop since I've been enjoying it for a while on my notebook now. I switched from fedora 18/19 where I had the same issue. My system crashes from time to time and I cannot tell why. The only suspicious thing I can find in the kernel log is this:
....
[ 1851.492415] delay: estimated 353, actual 0
[ 1851.494357] delay: estimated 265, actual 0

....

These delays seem to happen when I watch youtube videos. Especially when I change to fullscreen and back a lot or fast forward or select a time in the video that is not preloaded yet. Generally by putting a lot of stress on the flash application. The system doesn't crash right then but it is the only thing I can find in the log that doesn't make sense. If you google the problem there seem to be other people who have the same problem but no fix.

Maybe you have an idea

Can you give details about your hardware and which drivers you're using?

Any update?

Well, it didn't happen anymore. I still get the weird log messages but my system runs okay now. I disabled an unlock CPU core feature in my BIOS and reverted back to dual core, so might be on of the disabled cores. I will try to reproduce the freezes after a while be reenabling the feature.

There's nothing anyone can do about this, until more information is provided about the underlying hardware. Once you encounter the problem again, please re-open this bug report or file a new one. Thanks.
