Description: Upon upgrading the cinnamon package from 1.9.2-3 to 2.0.2-1, both Cinnamon and Cinnamon (Software Rendering) fail to start, giving the dialog box "Cinnamon failed to start. Would you like to restart?".

Reverting cinnamon back to 1.9.2-3 resolves problems.

This only occurs with my set-up with an AMD Radeon 6480G card running AMD Catalyst installed from Vi0L0's repository. This problem is not present on a separate set-up with an Intel Graphics 3000.

Please see the first post of the following thread for Cinnamon 2.0.2-1 with AMD Catalyst packaged at version 13.10.

I have also tested the cinnamon 1.9.2-3 vs cinnamon 2.0.2-1 with AMD Catalyst packaged at versions 13.4, 13.8 and 13.11 and the result is the same.

Ok, so after some profound rage about why I couldn't get Cinnamon 2.0.2-1 to work, I did a fresh install of ArchLinux with Catalyst 13.11, Cinnamon 2.0.2-1 and Linux-ck 3.11.5-1 packages from the pacman cache I had from the old installation and it all magically works, despite not working previously with the exact same packages. Not really a solution as such, but I thought I'd tell you all.
