Description:

As explained in https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/37309, the file index.theme of the hicolor-icon-theme had to be modified with "inherits=gnome" for the missing icons to reappear.

The hicolor theme is the universal fallback theme. It should not fall back to the GNOME icon theme.
