DetailsThe following error occur's when I do a generate-modprobe.conf>/etc/modprobe.conf:
modprobe: QM _MODULES: Function not implemented Warning: not translating path[boot]=/lib/modules/boot Warning: not translating path[toplevel]=/lib/modules/2.6.1 Warning: not translating path[toplevel]=/lib/modules/2.6 The warnings go on for another 30 lines or more. Now I have compiled 2.6.1 myself and got this error and have also installed the official arch 2.6.1-1 kernel and got the same error's. I also have a updated system. |

That's okay, I get those messages too. You should still get a bunch of stuff in your /etc/modprobe.conf. Check to make sure the important ones are there, like an alias for 'eth0'.
