Description:

After upgrading liblightdm-qt4 to the latest version (1.8.1), lightdm does not start anymore if the lightdm-kde-greeter is used.

The reason is that the current version of lightdm-kde-greeter in [community] expects liblightdm-qt version 2, while liblightdm-qt4 1.8.1 provides liblightdm-qt version 3.

I resolved by building liblightdm-qt4-git from AUR, which includes commit:

I am not sure if such a commit can be backported to lightdm-kde-greeter 0.3.2.1

Bug confirmed and patch tested. Please, backport the mentioned small patch for FindQLightDM.cmake (to be applied to lightdm-kde-greeter), which fixes the KDE greeter and also fixes the KCM module.
