Details

Description: cairo works with vala 0.20.1-1 but this lib has been udate to 0.22.0-1. So, we need downgrade vala for launch cairo.


Additional info:
* package version(s): cairo 1.12.16-1 / vala 0.22.0-1
* config and/or log files etc.

What exactly is happening? Was there an API break or bug and cairo just won't work? Or an ABI break and cairo just needs rebuilt?

I just inform you for this little problem. Cairo just start if we don't downgrade vala. We don't need rebuild.
(cairo-compmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libvala-0.20.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

I have solve it with the wiki.

cairo-compmgr is in aur, you need to rebuild that against new vala.
