DetailsFor some software it is needed to have numa_init exported in libnuma.so
For example try to compile hhvm (hiphop). You get linking error about missing numa_init. To solve this it needs to add numa_init to libnuma_1.1 { global: section in versions.ldscript (this file is part of sources of numactl) |

Looks like upstream thinks it makes sense adding it.
