Description:

After the upgrade to Totem 3.10, subtitles do not render any longer. Subtitles worked correctly before the GNOME 3.10 upgrade.

Steps to reproduce:
* Open a video on Totem 3.10
* Load subtitles for the video
* Subtitles never get rendered over the video.

I don't really have any idea on how to debug this further; do not hesitate to ask for more information if you need it.

Problem remains in 3.12. Renders subtitles, but it does not seem to be cleaning the graphics buffers and after a while it crashes.

I am attaching the log.

Might be an issue with gst-vaapi. Please uninstall it and try again.
