Currently you cannot have makechrootpkg ignore architecture,
which is useful for example when building archlinuxarm
packages. I hoped the following would work
makechrootpkg -- -A But it fails on the first makepkg invocation, when downloading the sources. ==> ERROR: icon-slicer is not available for the 'armv7h' architecture. Note that many packages may need a line added to their PKGBUILD such as arch=('armv7h'). ==> ERROR: Could not download sources. I wonder if it would be better to add a -A option to makechrootpkg or just pass -A also to the download source makepkg invocation, if specified after --. |

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: Reason for request: I noticed that arch linux arm has their own devtools packages and worked this around in a patch. That's probably good enough.
