The keyboard layout display, contained in libgnomekbd, is not included in the gnome package. It has to be installed separately. But the option to view the keyboard layout is still included in the keyboard indicator, and results in a error message that gnome could not find the Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Install and use gnome. Add several keyboard layouts so that the keyboard layout selector is displayed. Click on the keyboard layout selector, then click on view keyboard layout. That produces the error message. Fix: Libgnomekbd should be included in the gnome group. |
