I use vlc to watch tv. I start with "vlc --width 800 --height 450 --deinterlace=1 /home/me/tv_stuff/channels.conf" Since installing v 2.1.0-2 yesterdat vlc runs but the window is about 2.5 times as big as requested. Running from an xterm I see: "main vout display error: Failed to resize display" Additional info: * package version(s) As in the title, * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: As above. |

After using a different program for a while, I have revisited this issue. I do not know if the option was always present or if the default was different in the past, but I find that in Tools > Preferences > Interface there is a check box "Resize interface to video size". That was checked. When unchecked the width & height are honoured as before.
