DetailsI'd like to propose some small adjustments to the PKGBUILD file of redis:
1) "redis: move all config modifications to prepare()" https://github.com/flyingmutant/archlinux-community-packages/commit/69050767a4f4d396bee33b8c4475e0a69bf6fb60 2) "redis: make 'install' arguments more uniform" https://github.com/flyingmutant/archlinux-community-packages/commit/7047bf00ee1ebb311d3728dd7305d91af551015f 3) "redis: do not override allocator specified in upstream source" https://github.com/flyingmutant/archlinux-community-packages/commit/08678b458e7c69d073809e04aeaf0961bd90751c 1) and 2) are pure code reorganizations, which make PKGBUILD more readable. 3), on the other hand, makes PKGBUILD more closely follow upstream source. If this is not a proposed method of submitting patches, I'd be happy to submit them using another format or mechanism. |
