Install systemd sysvcompat version 206 and higher.
Reboot system.

Nothing in this bug report is relevant to the title. Can you show the backtrace from the panic?

Needless to say, I can't replicate this.

I'll have to post it later. But this is happening on my end with version 206 and higher. I posted the error log.
