Detailsxdg-utils is a dependency used by the install files and not required by deluge himself (I quote heftig).
This pull x11 libraries which are not desirable for using deluge on a remote server. As usual, a simple "type -p xdg-icon-resource" in install file would allow to drop the depens on xdg-utils. |

Xdg-icon-resource is just a wrapper for gtk-update-icon-cache, so that could be used instead.
