The xboard tarball provides a desktop file, and we are bundling our own instead. Is there any reason to use our custom version over the official upstream version?

Several options are located at
xboard-4.7.1/xboard-config.desktop
xboard-4.7.1/xboard.desktop
xboard-4.7.1/xboard-pgn-viewer.desktop
xboard-4.7.1/xboard-tourney.desktop
xboard-4.7.1/xboard-fen-viewer.desktop
in the source tarball. I think the 2nd file would be the best option.
