Details

Process lxdm-binary runs at minimum CPU 50% at all times, making laptop run hot.

Upgrade performed to have bug: lxdm 0.4.1-23 to lxdm 0.4.1-25.

Machine: AMD A4-3305M, AMD Radeon 6480G HD, 4GB RAM, linux-ck-k10 at version 3.11.0-1.

Downgrading to lxdm 0.4.1-23 resolves problem.

Tested with [core] kernel x86_64 3.10.10-1 with the same results as above, so it appears not to be kernel related.

(I quote kernels because those were upgraded at the same time as upgrading lxdm).

Please test with lxdm version 0.4.1-26, and if it still happens, then report the problem to the upstream developer, and mention that you are using the current git version on 2013-09-11:
