DetailsThe ipw2200 package only contains an old version of the firmware, but no driver. The driver is in the kernel, but it's so ancient, it's not usable. I'd ask that the driver be removed from the kernel until the kernel driver is more up to date. Also, please create three packages, ieee80211, ipw2200, and ipw2200-fw that contain up to date drivers.
Thanks! |
