What 'memory leak' mean here?

xbmc package prints "You may want to remove xbmc user and group" on removal.

xbmc process continues to allocate memory until there is none left causing the system to freeze.

ive spent the last hour talking with fritsch of xbmc and he has notified me of the issues with amd drivers and vsync. however this issue happened before i installed xvba-video and enabled vsync.

my system was leaking memory, i stopped the service, moved the home folder and rebooted and it resolved its self. im about to try xbmc-xvba and will verify again later that the absence of a /home/xbmc folder causes this issue.

Could you still reproduce the problem with xbmc 12.3-7?
