Not all distributions of jre has /usr/bin/java, for example, Oracle's jre from AUR, but this is hard-coded in the openfire's systemctl unit file. Additional info: * package version(s) 3.8.2-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Install only jre from AUR and install openfire, it cannot be started. |

If you use a custom jre you have to use your own service file
