Description: When doing a fresh install of kde using
kde-meta-kdebase, several of the installed by default KDM
themes do not include the background wallpapers. When
selecting the Ariya, Elarun, & Horos KDM themes, while
the preview thumbnails are correct, you only get a black
background at the login screen. Oxygen, Oxygen-Air, &
Circles all include the wallpapers. The kde-wallpapers
package is required to get the backgrounds for the other
themes.
If these themes are going to be included with kdebase, the background images should be included as well. (This actually raises another question....why isn't kde-wallpapers part of kde-meta-kdeartwork? Or why is it separate from kdeartwork-wallpapers?) Additional info: * package version(s): 4.11 and at least a couple of versions earlier. * This is an issue for x86_64, not sure about 32 bit, tho it likely exists there as well Steps to reproduce: Install kde-meta-kdebase, login/start kde, select Horos KDM theme, logout-->see black background behind the login screen. |

kde-wallpapers isn't part of the kdeartwork module.
