Details

Description: To check for OpenGL support, SDL attempts compilation of a file which includes gl.h, glx.h & glu.h. Whilst the former 2 are provided be mesa which is already in the makedepends, the latter is provided by glu which isn't. Thus a makepkg of sdl on a clean system will build sdl without OpenGL support. Found package version 1.2.15-3.

Output from SDL configure without glu installed:
checking for OpenGL (GLX) support... no

Output from SDL configure with glu installed:
checking for OpenGL (GLX) support... yes
