Details
Description:
GPU crashes (both LVDS1 + external DVI1 screens go blank) on my ThinkPad T61 with X3100 (GM965) when running linux-3.10.5-1 and xf86-video-intel-2.21.14-2 with SNA acceleration. It happens randomly (roughly once per day, but can be triggered easily with xsane). It doesn't happen if I force UXA or if I downgrade kernel to 3.9.9 (both SNA and UXA work with 3.9.9). Adding i915.semaphores=1 to parameters as suggested by wiki doesn't help. Additional info: * linux-3.10.5-1, xf86-video-intel-2.21.14-2 * attached dmesg, Xorg.0.log and output of /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_error_state lspci: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (primary) (rev 0c) 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (secondary) (rev 0c) Steps to reproduce: I can easily trigger the bug by resizing xsane's preview window for roughly 10 seconds on DVI1 monitor. |
