Details

Description: The systemd unit avahi-daemon.service hangs during shutdown (actually systemctl reboot, to be more exact) and causes the whole system to become inactive (confirmed on two of my arch machines now). I can still change to another tty via Super-LeftArrow / Super-RightArrow but can't login at these ttys to do anything because systemd apparently hangs as well and can't get getty up for these ttys. All I can see at the shutdown prompt from systemd is that it tries to get avahi down with a red loading thingy inside the square brackets but it doesn't succeed. All I can do is to kill the power physically ...

Additional info:
* linux 3.10.5-1
* systemd 204-3
* avahi 0.6.31-10
* config is arch default (no changes, neither to the avahi config nor the systemd unit files)

Steps to reproduce:
* start avahi:
systemctl start avahi-daemon.service

* wait a sec until its up:
systemctl status avahi-daemon.service

* reboot:
systemctl reboot

How would you like to see this fixed? Could the service file be changed so as to remove this hang? Is this a problem in upstream avahi?

I just tried again to reproduce this without any luck:

linux 3.10.10-1
systemd 204-3
avahi 0.6.31-10

I figure the hangs I had before were a few unfortunate happenstances at a time ...
