Can you specify a little bit more, what you mean exactly?

Issues are used to report problems. What is the problem ?
Comment by Marcus (iconfly) - Sunday, 25 August 2013, 15:38 GMT
The problem is the warning message ' not recreating formats since texlive-core has version '2013.30962-2''. It is not normal, cause time ago, there was not so a message and maby, some latex functions don't work. Therefore I post this warning here with priority low, in hope to change this.

I introduced the message myself on purpose, that's why it wasn't there before. Please explain better what the problem is.

To answer your last request: the problem is that it's utterly unclear what it is warning about to anyone not intimately familiar with tex -- so for all they know, it could be something serious. If there's no problem, then don't warn, rather then make a few thousand people go crawl the web to see if they actually HAVE a problem.

I think this is a genuine bug and should be fixed.

The warning seems to have been added in this commit:
https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/texlive-bin&id=846f6432bb1dfc435576084d1e1980269e022373

The commit message says:
"Formats will not be generated if the version does not match."

However, this is no longer true. To check whether the versions match,
the texlive.install script checks whether the version reported
by $(pacman -Q texlive-core) starts with "2012".
This was fine in 2012, when this was introduced,
but on EVERY "recently" updated Arch installation, this will fail,
because we use version 2013 for some time now...

So the current install script will not recreate formats despite
the fact that the versions match and generate a wrong warning message instead.
