Firefox has a click to play feature since its older releases. I used to use this feature but it's not working now and doesn't block the plugin content anymore. Additional info: * package version(s) 23 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: From about:config page set the "plugins.click_to_play" value as "true" Enter any flash containing site, the flash plugin will be activated without clicking. |

Additional comments about closing: Upstream changed the way this feature works.
You can set individual plugins in the addon manager. The above setting makes the default action be "Ask to Activate".
plugins.click_to_play will default to "true" in the next release.
