Please report this upstream to get the patches included.

upstream is more than aware (cos the libusbx maintainer fixed this) and a new release is being worked on http://libusbx.1081486.n5.nabble.com/Libusbx-devel-Doing-a-1-0-17-release-tc1629.html says "so with the deadlock on exit fixed " but I do not know when that happens and this drives people *nuts*. There are numerous complaints on the forum, yesterday I was just there when sommeone complained on IRC. Can you imagine clicking the file upload button in your browser and waiting half a minute for the window to appear?

I didn't say I won't include them. But wanted to be sure upstream is aware of it.
Fixed package will go up soon.
