Mpd is compiled without pipe output support at the moment, so specifying 'type "pipe"' for an output throws an error. I don't know if this has any drawbacks, but I doubt it. Fix: Add "--enable-pipe-output" configure option. |

Could you at least say a few words on why you'd find the ability to write audio to a pipe useful?
