Current icon for plt racket is too small. Perhaps update to a larger scalable icon (svg). See attached image.

With the update to racket-5.3.6-1, the icon has improved. But it's still really jagged on my 1080p monitor.

Yes, I've replaced the 40x40 xpm icon by other png icons provided in /usr/lib/racket/collects/icons/, the largest being 48x48. It's not much larger but the quality is much better.

There are also 256x256 icons but unfortunately I forgot to include them. As it's a big package, I don't want to make another relaese to only add an icon. You can check them out if you want: /usr/lib/racket/collects/icons/plt-logo-red-* and /usr/lib/racket/collects/icons/racket-logo-*
