Forgot to add, here is the thread in which I initially reported the issue, also upgrading to 3.10.3 does not fix the issue:

This looks related to mine: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36311
Also to this one: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36107

Looks like there are some serious problems with SNB/IVB on 3.10

They did seem similar to me as well, however I have glitches whether or not I resume or not. Finding some solutions after a search I tried installing intel-gpu-tools, but that did not work.

My bug name is misleading: I actually get them sometimes during normal usage as well. Hopefully Chris Wilson does his voodoo magic and fixes this for 3.10.4...

Updating linux-firmware has restored the minor graphical issues, however I'm hesitant to suggest to close this but because I haven't had enough time to experience the major glitches.

There are still minor corruption issues, here's an example: http://imgur.com/fARB0bc
Hopefully video-intel 2.21.13 fixes things.

This is very similar to what I see on my laptop with Intel HD3000 & Gnome3

Eugene, I have some more information about this bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36311#comment112669

Specifically, see the bottom comment. It looks like things will be fixed in 3.10.5 or 3.10.6.

After the recent upgrade to mesa 9.1.6 and latest xorg-intel, all but minor corruption in chromium has been solved. Fixes are incoming in the kernel and mesa 9.x for this as well, so I'm requesting closure for this bug.
