Reason for closing:  Won't fix
Additional comments about closing:  I can't do anything about this. The package is obviously fine. I use this in production daily on various systems.

Give me the full Xorg.1.log.

I can't reproduce at all, by the way. It works well here on a sane and up-to-date system. Make sure you are completely up-to-date and reboot your system. You actually need to reboot for 2 reasons: kernel and nvidia blob. kms and nvidia blob might fight against each other and if kms grabs the card, you can't insert nvidia.

There is a bug in the nvidia module that causes a kernel oops sometimes. I think the bumblebee chain itself is quite fine.

I rebooted my system two times after update. I did sudo pacman -Syu to upgrade the whole system and it installed all packages without errors - after reboot optirun failed to work.

Do you get any interesting stuff in dmesg or Xorg.8.log after attempting that?
Comment by Archman (dmaschine) - Tuesday, 30 July 2013, 10:54 GMT
I downgraded the packages so I didn't get those messages now. I wait for the nvidia package to be updated. Maybe it's also related to the newer Kernel..

Is this problem still occurring with 325.15?
Comment by Archman (dmaschine) - Friday, 09 August 2013, 09:49 GMT
Yep..
Comment by Archman (dmaschine) - Friday, 09 August 2013, 09:51 GMT
Additionally I don't get bumblebee to run with beta driver - it is also flagged as out of date and behind the [extra] package
Comment by Sven-Hendrik Haase (Svenstaro) - Friday, 09 August 2013, 10:22 GMT
Can you talk to bumblebee upstream about this and see what they think?
Comment by Sven-Hendrik Haase (Svenstaro) - Monday, 26 August 2013, 19:55 GMT
This seems to be a confirmed problem in 600 series mobile cards. Everything works fine on my 555m.
Comment by Sven-Hendrik Haase (Svenstaro) - Saturday, 07 September 2013, 17:07 GMT
I really can't do anything about this but. It works for me and seems to be an upstream bug.
