Can you post the exact command line you used?
Comment by yea llin (yea) - Sunday, 14 July 2013, 19:50 GMT
hello eric, I can't show the exact command line because
of private information, my stream channel code,
but its something like that ffmpeg -i file.avi video/audio codecs..... -f flv "rtmp......"
this code was working perfectly fine before the rtmpdump update
rtmpdump works, it just ffmpeg cant send the file to my channel anymore since the update
like rtmpdump link..... | vlc -
that works, thank you for your time

I can confirm this result with any kind of FFMpeg streaming to twitch.tv over RTMP. Segmentation fault when opening a connection to the server.

Yes, this resolves the issue. Nice work.

Great. I'll wait to see it it also works for yea before pushing it to the repo.

This new package is just a git clone for rtmpdump on 20121230. The package in the repo is built from a source tarball from Debian that I thought was the same but it turns out to be different. It probably contains Debian fixes or changes that triggers these problems.
