Not sure if this is another upstream bug, because it could also be a packaging bug. It seem that live video capture via the VideoCapture::open(int) method doesn't work which hints towards a missing live-video backend (v4l or GStreamer). Capturing from files, seemingly via FFMPEG, does work. Additional info: * package version(s): 2.4.6-1 Steps to reproduce: use one of the examples and try to use a live video device (0 => /dev/video0) |

You can confirm this with a rebuild of a previous version or a binary from ARM. [1] So, fortunately or unfortunately, upstream bug.
