DetailsOur kdelibs is built with --enable-fast-malloc=full, which enables a faster malloc. However, this is no longer needed, since glibc-2.3 itself has a fixed malloc -- and it may even cause instability.

I second. --enable-fast-malloc=full caused my kwin to crash.
