Description:

When staring existing Virtual Machine message box with
"
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine <MyMachine>.

Failed to load VMMR0.r0 (VERR_SYMBOL_NOT_FOUND).

You need to reload vbox modules or reboot

reboot doesn't help

rebuild dkms modules if you use them.

I got the same problem and using proper kernel modules helped me.

"sudo mkinitcpio -p linux" and reboot after that has fixed the problem

so may be it's update bug?
error raised after update.

I do have the same problem. "sudo mkinitcpio -p linux" does not fix this problem on my system.

thanks a lot - after rebooting virtual box works fine again.
