DetailsDescription:
grub-mkinstall installs a broken binary to the EFI system partition. Specifically, it gets stuck when loading the initramfs image. This has started happening since the merging of the various grub packages into a single unified package, and currently, the solution is to downgrade to the last set of split packages and install grub using those files. Boards tested with: Asus Sabertooth Z77, UEFI 1805 Lenovo X220T Tablet, UEFI v1.38 no specific config. Steps to reproduce: run 'grub-mkinstall' or 'grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=arch_grub --recheck ' to install to ESP reboot system is stuck when loading initramfs |

Please use grub package from testing repository it fixes it.
