Details

the latest update of imagemagick to 6.2.5-1 causes krita not to find it and fail to start.

krita looks for:
open("/usr/lib/libMagick.so.6", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
(always with this so.6 ending)

while newest imagemagick provides:
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick.a
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick++.a
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick.so
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick++.so
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick.so.9
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick++.so.9
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick.so.9.0.5
imagemagick /usr/lib/libMagick++.so.9.0.5

I made a symlink libMagick.so.6 -> libMagick.so.9.0.5, but I dont think this is close to correct, since those numbers should mean something...
(whatever they mean - at least krita started)

I bet a pardon - it is from KOffice suite - an image manipulation application, as they say.

versions:
koffice 1.4.2-2
imagemagick 6.2.5-1
kde-3.5.0

no worries - I would've known had I been a KDE guy. just trying to make sure the right person gets the report.
