DetailsI'm trying to install some ... less than new aur PKGBUILDS for kde styles, colors, themese, etc...
They all require kdebase. If you installed kde with kde-meta, it has kdebase listed in conflicts and replaces, but doesn't list that it provides it so all those PKGBUILDS break. I know that it's mostly their fault for not paying attention when they setup their depends, and should really be depending on kdelibs or something, but it's a simple fix, and shouldn't cause any harm to add it to the main package for kde-meta-kdebase... I've done a temporary edit of my desc in /var/lib/pacman/... which allowed them to be installed, but that will go away on the next update, and will not help anyone else... |

This is very much NOT the way to do things. Edit the PKGBUILDs and post a comment about this in the respective AUR pages.
It already shows that it conflicts with kdebase, so it's not like it would cause problems from trying to install both simultaneously.
