Details

From a default installation, I get the following output when just checking the version of php at the command line. It's strange that the warnings only pop up when logged in as root.

[root@bodhi etc]# php --version

When logged in as a normal user, I get:

[michael@bodhi ~]$ php --version

[michael@bodhi ~]$


I noticed that the warnings are from the uncommented extension= lines at the bottom of php.ini.

I think this is a local problem for you.

Runs fine for me both as root and non-root.
