after updating from pulseaudio 3.0-3 to pulseaudio 4.0-2 , in pavucontrol i can't use/see anymore my usb external audio card which is Native Instruments Traktor Audio 2 Additional info: * kernel 3.9.6-1-ARCH |

And please compare the output of "pactl list" with pulseaudio 3 and 4.
with pulseaudio 3.0-3 http://nopaste.info/8f83c010d1.html
after system upgrade ,with pulseaudio 4.0-2 http://nopaste.info/4ca1e58d45.html
and i think the kernel doesn't affect any of these, because i tried on different kernels even on the same kernel.. but i am not sure at all (i'm kinda new in the linux worlds)

Make sure you have
"ATTRS{idVendor}=="17cc", ATTRS{idProduct}=="041d", ENV{PULSE_PROFILE_SET}="native-instruments-traktor-audio2.conf"
in your /lib/udev/rules.d/90-pulseaudio.rules file. Not sure if this is from upstream.

The problem is that there is no profile to load. It's fixed upstream now. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/commit/?id=e9822bfcb071a1b0e8f4eb67c6d471c466aeaf98
So either add it yourself or wait till pulseaudio gets a new build.
