I wonder if this is related to this warning I get when I open VirtualBox.

Qt WARNING: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile

I've got the same, but don't know if it's related...

With what qt3 apps (might be good idea to also list the qt4 and qt5 ones too) do you get this issue? I tried designer-qt3 and I didn't see any artifacts.

The problem is not constant, it appears and disappears without any explicit reason.
That happens at least to VLC and Virtual Box Manager (both are qt4 I think). I use gnome-shell and have
packages installed to transfer GTK styles to QT apps, probably that is the clue?

Ah, I also saw this problem in Krusader

Does this occur with Qt 4.8.5?
Comment by Eugene Lipchansky (NSky) - Friday, 05 July 2013, 05:07 GMT
pacman -Q qt4
qt4 4.8.5-1

In addition to menus I can also see it in KeePassX About box
