DetailsDescription:
After updating pulse audio I get: "If you have per-user copies of configuration files (such as client.conf, daemon.conf or default.pa) in ~/.pulse/, make sure you keep them in sync with changes to the packaged files in /etc/pulse/. Otherwise, PulseAudio may refuse to start due to configuration errors." The advice is wrong because the user configuration path for pulseaudio is now ~/.config/pulse (and not ~/.pulse). Additional info: * package version(s) pulseaudio 4.0-2 libpulse 4.0-2 * config and/or log files etc. FILE: /var/log/pacman.log ... [2013-06-12 12:26] [ALPM-SCRIPTLET] >>> If you have per-user copies of configuration files (such as client.conf, [2013-06-12 12:26] [ALPM-SCRIPTLET] daemon.conf or default.pa) in ~/.pulse/, make sure you keep them in sync [2013-06-12 12:26] [ALPM-SCRIPTLET] with changes to the packaged files in /etc/pulse/. Steps to reproduce: Install or update pulseaudio or just look at the pulseaudio package pulseaudio.install file and see the incorrect text. |

Actually, if ~/.config/pulse doesn't exist but ~/.pulse does, it's still used (and ~/.config/pulse is not created), so it's not completely wrong.
