Details

kipi-plugin provided features do not show up in digikam's menus.
(slideshow tool beeing the most missed...)

similar lines appear for each kipi-plugin while starting digikam:

kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: /opt/kde/lib/kde3/kipiplugin_jpeglossless.so: undefined symbol: init_kipiplugin_jpeglossless
kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: The library kipiplugin_jpeglossless does not offer an init_kipiplugin_jpeglossless function.
KIPI (loading): WARNING: KIPI::PluginLoader:: createInstanceFromLibrary returned 0 for JPEGLossless (kipiplugin_jpeglossless) with error number 4
...
...

I removed all relevant old config files in ~/.kde/... - doesn't help
I tried to recompile libkipi, kipi-plugins and digikam - nothing helped.

Is it a library out of search path?

versions:
kipi-plugins 0.1.0rc1-1
libkipi 0.1.1-3
digikam 0.8.0-1
digikamimageplugins 0.8.0-1

kde-3.5.0

please downgrade your kipi-plugins to beta2 then it works again

it does work with beta2, thanks!

however - are those problems with newer versions Arch-specific or not?
I didn't find anything similar in KDE bugtracker, and since this problem was with release candidate, it might remain so in the final version too.
