DetailsFind and replace works fine (which can serve as Find as well; I think the two used to open up the same menu), but Find does not open for me.

This task depends upon

Do you have a find search field in the toolbar? In that case "Find" simply moves the cursor there, it doesn't open any new dialog.

Ah, I had it taking up half the screen and the find bar was hidden.. sorry! I wish they wouldn't hide it there though
