as a fix on Arch Linux web site for error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) filesystem: /bin exists in filesystem The solution provided on the Arch Linux web site: $ pacman -Qqo /bin /sbin /usr/sbin | pacman -Qm - gives another error: cannot determine ownership of directory /bin /sbin /usr/sbin. Does not work under sudo either. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. new installation from source .img Steps to reproduce: pacman -Syu provides the file system errors for /bin /sbin and /usr/sbin after img upload into raspberry pi.
